Pop Café Activations
Following the launch of the Nespresso Pop machine, the brand sought to expand its presence through a series of bold, unexpected activations designed to introduce the product to new audiences in playful and highly shareable ways. The concept behind the Pop Café campaign was rooted in surprise and delight—placing miniature cafés in iconic, unconventional locations to reflect the machine’s compact size and vibrant personality. These activations were strategically developed to build buzz in key markets, with each location tailored to amplify the Pop’s energy and color story while connecting with culturally relevant moments. The goal was not only to generate awareness for the product, but to create immersive brand experiences that blurred the line between retail and entertainment. Each activation—from a takeover of the Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel to a pink-themed elevator installation at One World Trade Center—was crafted to reflect the playful essence of the Pop, while engaging consumers, influencers, and media in dynamic, visually driven environments.
